Soowon Lee has helped develop the new WIDA website and compiled different web-based item types for the ONPAR™ project. She is currently working on a project to design alternative assessments (e.g., a home language survey/observation checklist) for Kindergarten ELLs. Soowon is a doctoral student in Curriculum & Instruction at the UW-Madison. She is majoring in early childhood education. |

Amanda Spalter

Amanda Spalter will work on the LADDER for ELLs® professional development program to assist consortium schools in making data-driven decisions about their English language learners. She has also helped with the development of an Alternate ACCESS for English language learners with significant disabilities. She is a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Laura is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her majors are Communication Arts and Human Development and Family Studies. She plans to become an occupational therapist. |
